throwing the car sideways

I tried to make my setup safe: I was a little concerned that my selfmade upper brakets could fail... so I used new yokes that only have little clearance to the center shaft, the slip/slide half shafts allow 1/2" or so inward movement so IF something back there breaks the inward movement is limited to 1/2" and I also trust my bump stops to do their job..... I would hate having to repair the flared fender (after I'm released from hospital) ...:crutches::crutches::crutches:

at this point I hope nothing is trying to pull the halfshaft outwards.... well, the weight of the car should prevent this, it's very unlikely that the upper mount breaks when the wheel is unladed (inboard wheel in a corner) ....

many say the lowered lower rods and the resulting geometry (no camber change) is ver bad for handling, I can't say it's bad at all.... then again, 315's in the rear.... these tires grip pretty nicely when cornering......
