TPI bargain?

Hey denpo, if you need a 90-91 Camaro SD harness for cheap let me know. It has like 3 cut connectors for the distributor but a real easy fix. This harness even has the wiring to run dual electric fans.

was going to use it on my 82 vette but have decided to just keep the crossfire on the car.
I'll remember that Jeff, thanks.
So a MAF based computer can be retrofitted to handle a MAP sensor/harness?

NO, there are 2 different computers, you SEEM to have a MAP based computer next to the rails/brown box in your pix there....should be marked 1227730 the other computer to the bottom left of the pix, looks like one from my '87 vette, and is a MAF type computer....

now here is a trick, the computers will need reprogramming , to remove the security key crap and you are going to need the wiring from a '91 F body....I MAY still have them on store in my computer somewhere, and can send in email, if not, I can copy them and send in a email.....

that will be a MAP system, like I have had for 16 years now....

Saw that page here: http://sethirdgen.org/tpi1.htm, that states that for a 350ci 22lbs injectors are required, I guess that correlates what you're saying.
Also read that fuel pump pressure must be matched.
Still a lot to learn.....

There's no such thing as fuel pump pressure with these type of pumps, these pumps create flow. In other words, they cram fuel into a restriction (fuel lines w/ regulator) and the regulator regulates the system pressure by spring load and vac. on a diaphragm to pull it down. That is done so that the effective fuel pressure is about the same over the manifolds pressure range (for instance, 40psi fuel pressure w/ 10psi of boost only gives you an effective pressure drop of 30psi, same way for manifold vac.)
The max rated dead ehad pressure is simply the pressure the pump can achieve by cramming fuel into a blocked off line.

That ECM is a MAF ECM, the housing on the SD oens is different and they have 1 more plug for the air bag junk (yellow plug), it's a different style connector all together and they are a;ll 3 seperate. These MAF systems have 2 sitting side by side on one large pinout conector on the board (the black part) that's a 1227165 ECM

What's the prom broadcast code on it? Pull the little lid and note the 4 letter code on the memcal, there are 2 windows on the blue part of it. One side has the broadcast code, the otehr side has the limp mode and cyl select resistors. ABWN is a 5.7 code for auto trans and 3.23 rear, fed emissions.

Thanks for all the infos guys, I'm taking 1 week vacation tomorrow.
When I get back I'll unpack everything and I'll let you know what the package actually contains.
