Yeah...I know how to do an end run around the ban. But it's not worth the effort for that place.

I can count on one hand the times I been there over since this place formed....eff em....except for my friend there....there maybe some other crossovers, I can't remember...no offense to anyone....:beer:

All of these pissing contests are why I took a several year break from the online Vette world and pretty much let my car sit for a while. Now I just want to work on my car and have fun driving it. I could care less about the drama. The rest of my life has that in spades.

Do you think the mention of VetteMOD at DC is a "pissing contest"? If so, they are the only ones pissing :confused2:

Yeah, I do. It's silly, pointless and juvenile. And I've run across other things on various forums that I'd put in the same category. Like I said, I just don't care about anyone's interpersonal drama. I want to make my car reliable and fun to drive. Everything else is a waste of time to me.

Not a waste of time: reading TT's incredible and detailed rebuild threads relating to the 63 vert and 3rd gen F-body cars. I've spent hours lately reading and studying what he's done. I'm constantly amazed at his level of craftsmanship, and they've even inspired me to order some new bends to redo parts of my side exhaust and cooling system.:nuts:

Yeh, join the club....what is interesting is that years ago it was all local knowledge, now a daze, it's from round the world....and being written and photos instead of talk and grease, it's harder to sometime convey this shit....

over the last dozen years or so, due to my move south, and some other problems here in the 'car' community....my car hobby is over the net....

If you don't like non technical posting that you might find in the "Off Topic" section, why are you reading and responding to them?

You're right, I guess I felt like offering a bit of explanation as to why I went into hiding for so long. Anyway, off to read TT's 63 vert update.
