What is the name of that demon...

Took an hour to syphon the tank, and about 4 hrs with a liesurely R&R. Not too bad. The Vette got filled. The Caddy got a few gallons, and I had to spend another $85.00 to fill the truck again.:suicide:

Eh, not so awful bad, and so you out one pump and some hours....

join the club....

I already had the pump too. :)

I think that demon comes in a 12 pack with C3s.

Why is it the average 70s drunk factory worker can put the gauge cluster in, but it'd take a sledge hammer and C4 (the kind that goes boom... errr, that could be either C4... you know what I mean) to get it in?

True story, one of the 1967 Camaros I owned had an empty beer can in the vent well on the passenger side.... who knew GM had factory beer? bet the chalk and mark crowd would have went ga ga over that rare piece.

That MF'er and the sock monster too. Where the hell do those odd socks go?

My socks started disappearing and finally I had to go to the mall and buy some new pairs. Not too much later, my wife called me at work to tell me that there were a large number of socks stuffed in the crack between a bedroom dresser drawer set and the wall. Apparently Bunny didn't like me leaving socks on the bedroom floor, so she was picking them up and stuffing them behind the dresser. Rabbits are territorial, so apparently she regards our bedroom floor as her territory. (She runs loose in the house and has excellent litter box habbits..no bunny poop or pee anywhere in the house. She spends most of the day in the bedroom.)
....................
After New Years, I take down the Christmas light strings from the house exterior. I carefully lay them in a single straight line string in the front yard and carefully fold them up. Months later, I take them out of the box to restring them on the house for Christmas, and the strings are twisted and knotted together. And the same phenomonen, as others have noted, with my garden hoses and compressed air hose. Seems to me this'd make a good PhD thesis subject for someone to scientifically explain how this happens!!!

I kid you not, I have a friend who did a thesis on knots, and how knots could be formalized with a specialized algebra. Amongst other this The goal was to explain how thread can get tangled and how untangle such mess.
He got promising result but preferered to get into active life and didn't pursue into master.

And the demons brother stuck last night. Brownout or out of range, during a thermal ride, good bye trusty Champ. Just a pin dot in the sky. The cost of flying RC planes this week,,,, freakn' $75 A MINUTE!!!!!!!!! Done!!!!!:goodnight:

My brother had built a RC airplane, basically it was the result of months of saving and building (back in the stick-built balsa wood days). He got it done, and was excited to try it out, but didn't balance the plane first (there could be an argument made that I cheerleaded him into trying it too soon - of course, I'm sure that isn't true, but for historical accuracy, I present that as well). We lived on a private runway - so we took the plane out and it flew, nice and straight.... problem was he needed to turn the plane and every time he tried to turn the plane would go into a dive. Eventually he had the choice of letting it go, or augering it into the ground.... motor was 6" into the ground, and a nice pile of balsa kindling was on top.

Haaa those RC airplanes,
Friend of mine was an addict, he had a few of those things.
One day, while building a brand new plane, it didnt have the wings attached to it while he was testing the engine he had just installed.

The plane was held solidely on the workbench
Engine was turning fast and good BUT he noticed the glass was loose on the cockpit and ratling.

SOOOO the nose of the plane was facing to his right and instintively.. with his right hand he reached for the cockpit...

the propeller was turning fast and furious so it "kinda" dissapeared huh?

Frigging thing chewed up two fingers tips and part of a thumb real fast.

What a pisser.

All rc planes come with a expiration date, some sooner than others.

helocopters come an expiration minute - I have two on my shelf that lasted maybe an hour each? granted, they could be fixed (bad plugs).... but at this point, I think they've gotten off lucky (I loan them to keep friend's kids from pputting fingerprints, food, sand, or bugs in my cars)
