He might need a big tree, a length of stout chain, and a small Caterpillar (D9?) to get it all back to the proper length.
Hope Linda is feeling better today!

with the proper equipment this could be a fun project.... need to find a useable tree, FL palms might not work....
Hope she's is feeling ok - I assume the day after the crash was pretty bad ???

I was really nervous for her on Saturday evening, but strangely enough Sunday did not SEEM as bad, not as bad as they were saying at the hospital, anyway....or maybe Linda is tougher than even I giver her credit for.....don't forget, she is 61 y/o and 5'6" and 130 lbs, not exactly a NFL linebacker.....so I dunno for sure, but she seemed to perk up a bit, and so she is drag racing that granny walker pretty good now.....Thing is, her neck is hurting and swollen from airbags and seatbelts.....slammed in back, broke the seat it was so hard, it was a reclining seat, so maybe just sprang the mechanism, so then the car stops against the minivan setting off the airbags in her face and tossing her into the shoulder strap....poor little granny got slugged 3-4 times on that shit.....:club:
FOUND the wallet@!!!!! believe it or not, on the floor of the car in the yard.....shocking, I given that up totally.....
:nuts::zzz:

It was my wife's one and only new car in her life....bought on her own new in '99, she named it 'Betsey' I have held it together fairly well over the years, but now, time to move on....she wants another FORD though....
I dunno why....:surrender:
I need suggestions for affordable cars, no NEW cars, she not taking on 300/month car payments for 5 years at age 61....
:suicide:

how much will she spend?
oh yeah, and don't forget pain and suffering - should be at least 3x meds (cost of treatment) up to policy limits..... also, her own insurance company may get to contribute as well.
Thus, given typical policies, she should be looking in the 100k-300k ballpark for a (not new) car.... nice ballpark - doesn't have any Fords in it

:clap: She walking without crutches or walker today, she called me into the bathroom after her shower, showing me her bruises, she is just black/blue/red all over, damn seatbelts really did her in, right hip is the worse, she is a little pale faced part Native American and tends to bruise easily anyway, a shock like this just beat her to pieces.....
