It looks like CF has been hijacked. I just went there and was redirected to a wares site lol.

I just left bannedcampforum.com and so YES, big tyme, apparently....they have generated at least one serious enemy at CF for some reason, and so he/she/they/whoever goes after the site every once in a while....been going on for about 2 months now....

Course I am clueless as to HOW that can be done, but someone really knows some shit, apparently....:tomato::lol:

They got hit bigtime. You can get in the front door but once you try to go anywhere your rerouted to a porn download site.

I suspect they're blocking anyone who may be a member also on VetteMod.

That's what you get off when you piss off Vbulletin users (owned by internet Brands). These people write hacks and mods for the software (some get implemented in later versions)...what better group of people to have against you LOL They will hack your forum :D Weird thing is, Thirdgen still works. Haven't checked the other IB sites so maybe it's not Vbulletin related but someone got kicked off OT again :D

Be careful i now have a redirect virus. Now anytime I use any of my search engines I get redirected to about 5 different sites. I have run 2 virus programs ,a malware program, and spy ware, and I still can't get rid of it!

I have the Norton 2010, and was unaffected.

I run no virus programs, haven't for a LONG time now.....they tend to slow down whatever feeble machine i"m on....in the way past, caused more grief than they cured...so it seemed...

Even if you have a virus program ? I have AVG free and since I installed it 2 years ago it has never found a virus in my computer and it runs a scan every Sunday. I assume it is doing such a good job of not letting anything in is the reason it never finds anything. It seems like I "could" turn off the scheduled scans and be OK.

same deal with my Zone Alarm, it never finds anything, I`m "hoping" it blocks the bad stuff...AVG is an antivirus and antispyware...they have a pay version and a free version. look at freegrisoft.com

having no firewall and virus protection is stupid, a PC hooked up to the internet alone, no activity on it will be infected for sure in 20 minutes

TT , how does a firewall work and what the hell is it. I assume its a protection thing. I think my computer has firewalls and my wireless router "says" it has firewalls. I guess I've been pretty lucky (knock on wood) with this newest computer not really knowing much about computers other than how to turn the switch on.
