I need to run my 90 vette tires before flat spots set in. The downside is the car isn't registered so I am curious and nobody has been able to answer this but will these 90 vette rims fit on my 97 camaro.

I tried one of those tire calculators at least I think I used it right and came up with very minimal differences between 245/50/16 & 275/40/17 .. I think this to be important due to my car having 4l60e and as you all know tire sizes might affect shifting but I am more worried about ABS issues.

I've looked for offset info for the camaro rims to find out if they are the same as the vette rims but struck out there.

Using this calculator this is what I came up with. Does this seem right? or are these online calculators very accurate?

I think I've seen "sawblades" on a late F-body and your 90 wheels are the same dimensions. Don't worry about ABS, that system doesn't care what wheels are on the car.

A couple of years ago Corvette Fever magazine, now labeled as Vette magazine, did a pretty comprehensive article about tires for C3 Corvettes. From what I remember, you have a much greater selection of modern tires if you have 17 inch wheels. With 16 inch wheels, there was only a few tires that were rated as performance tires. For 17 inch wheels, there was a much
greater selection. I bought 17 inch wheels for my 68.
