Headlights

I actually was able to get in touch with the gentleman at sickhids.com and he isn't cheap but sounds like he makes every set of headlights custom to your specific build. There is also corvetteHID.com and they seem to be working on HID projector headlights for the C3 as well. Apparently they recently decided to pick the project back up after dropping it for a while.

Hood Struts

Here is an image of the numbers on the struts used on my hood application.

Might be a StrongArm 4524.
16.31 extended, 10.83 compressed, makes sense.
Could find only one mention of the lift: allegedly 75 lbs.
If it's the right spring, that would mean your setup uses twice the lift the guy on CF does.

the Z06 should have DRL so check again , might be better to remove it from the wiring harniss like Jeff showed.... might look different on the Vette than on the Camaro.....

I don't have the auto headlights from a Z06 (I didn't use the Z06 wiring). It is an aftermarket kit. I wonder why Jeff's lights burned out so to speak because of the DRL... If my car did have DRL I wonder if it would matter since all of my lights are now LED's.

I don't have any good pictures of the exhaust up in the car (mostly because the car has been on the ground so I cannot get under it to take the shots).

I do however have pics of the exhaust after it was built, installed for fit and then removed. I will try to get pics of it in the car as soon as I can.

This exhaust system uses the same butterfly shutter system a Z06 used. I'm curious to see if it makes much difference at all in overall sound output when they are closed like the stock system. Biggest issue I see is that these cans are much smaller than the stock Z06 cans so I wonder.

Does anyone have any insight as to where I might find a nice set of LED tail lights that still have the reverse lights? Not using the stock lens and sticking a LED bulb in there.

Got my headlights in and in the car. They are going to look pretty sweet!

I was hoping to be much further along at this point than I currently am. I was thinking the car would be painted before 2014, but we are being held up by the guy doing the computer work. Need the BCM in order to fiberglass it into the car, but not having luck getting a response from the computer guy.

those lights will look awesome at night time. do you have the inner halo portion wired as day light running lights? I am thinking of doing that on my mga coupe project.
