I'm trying to find out how much the stock tank weighs to get an idea if there's something to gain (or lose, to be more correct) by installing a substitute.

I have 2 tanks here, brand new one, 16 lbs
and the original with the hoses, rubber around the cap and the unit on the side. 19 lbs

Speedway Motors sells 'em. They don't go into detail on the metallurgy, as far as I can see.

I've been kicking around doing the front bumper in aluminum. The shape isn't that complex. Just for kicks, anybody know the weight of the front bumper?

Seem to recall the "Battering Ram" and the Vacuum tube/support structure coming it at 50# or so. Could be an ALy tube.
Also Power Steering pump, brackets, and pulley.
A complete Serpentine kit for brackets maybe too.
