I think we are heading up Mt Palomar. It is a good curvy road. Either way,Bird promised me some mountain driving. Love the curvy roads,they are a blast.

Starts at Angel Stadium Sat at 7am, goes to San Diego via the mountains, then back up to here Sunday via PCH. Subject to change at majority approval.

The Bird Run is approaching soon. where are we staying the night at? we need to get room reservations dont we? can we spend the night in Temecula again? or do you have another town in mind.

where to stay ?

barona resort and casino is nice but no rooms that night when i checked online . must be saving them for the big spending gamblers with the club cards.maybe one of the other hotel casino places would be alright ? my 2cents

Pala is a thought. Temecula is another. Plenty of Hotels outside San Diego. I'll speak with George and Darrow this weekend. The good part is our small heatwave seems to be breaking up now for awhile.

We will leave Angel Stadium at 7AM. Route to Darrow's, then over Ortega. From there up to Palomar, but then south via Julian and points south. La Mesa, El Cajon area for the night.
Sunday is Balboa Park, North Island, then up the coast.

Holiday Inn Express in El Cajon/La Mesa area has lot's of rooms.
