I've never really looked and how the original radiator support and cooling/a/c system is mounted in a C3 but could say a 1990 complete cooling capsul be bolted in acrass the frame rails ???? ... This is a mod I thought about doing after I saw how my 1990 system is all mounted, I would think by the time you added a stock type a/c condensor and plastic tank aluminum core radiator and the composite materials of the whole capsule, the loss in frontal weight would be pretty good. If it were a TPI converted C3 you could even add the C4 style cold air induction and the radiator is raked back far enough so hood clearance shouldn't be an issue.
