67 L 88. Drivers: Bob Bondurant Dick Guldstrand Don Yenko

One of the original 20 cars built in 1967 with the L-88 engine. The only Stingray to ever race LeMans. Lead the class for over 11 hours, but a broken connecting rod in the 13th hour forced the car to retire. Car was clocked 171 mph on Mulsanne Straight.

thats insane, i bet the other drivers were thanking god when that connecting rod went south.
