The all-day session was co-sponsored by the Michigan and Heart of Ohio chapters of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS).
In this video a panel discussion featuring Gib Hufstader, Bill Howell, Gary Cline, Tom Langdon, Al Grenning, Denny Davis and Dave McClellan give personal accounts about the birth of the L88 and ZL1 engines. A replica of that car including its 180 degree exhaust headers was unveiled at the event as well. In addition former Corvette Chief Engineer and Hall of Famer Dave McLellan spoke about development of the C4 ZR-1.
