I agree with Gene the way we have fought the last last two wars in particular was too costly both in lives and money. I think however we would have been better off not entering the conflicts to start with. We should have gone into afganistan, got Osama and his followers and got out.
I think many folks agree with you on being involved in two win less wars, especially the wife's and parents that have lost sons and husbands..............but big business and defense contractors sure don't agree.
I bet they are now looking at Iran for there oil and Halliburton hoping they bomb the place really good so they get the contracts to rebuild the place. :sos:

I believe with surgical strikes and some leaflets toss out of planes, we can break Iran in about a week, maybe less....couple days....but this country is just too damn PC about everything, too many damn liberals in the schools over the last few decades, that comes from the Dept of Ed at the Fed level, they set the standards.....hell the damn .gov can't even sequence traffic lights or use common sense in road building, seen that demonstrated here in this neighborhood....
Bob, nothing much has changed in the work ethic in Wash DC, certain agencies maybe ok, such as CIA, DIA, DOD, police/fire/EMT....but they are way in the minority in that town, and at any rate 120grand/year retirement on your tax money is a bit rich, don't you think??.....:skeptic:
