How much cooling does engine oil do?

I just installed my oil pan using the Felpro one piece oil pan gasket. I highly recommend it if they make it for the big block. The gasket kit comes complete with the one piece gasket, ALL of the pan bolts and washers, and these handy little plastic studs that holds the gasket and oil pan in place while you get the pan bolts started. Felpro didn't pay me a dime for this endorsement.
