My 69 Project

Looking good but IMO you need to cut a coil on the front and get some longer bolts for the rear. It's sitting a tad high.

I was thinking the same, it's sitting a little high. Maybe the suspension is going to settle once you drive it more, what springs did you install?

I LIKE! Any pictures of the diff area to see how the spring, shafts and T/A are lining up? Is the objective, drive shaft straight/parallel when under acceleration?

Thanks Andy

Andy no pics of rear yet,my rear drive axles are not straight across, they angle down to the wheels a little.I had the whole rear end and rear suspension totally redone about 10 years ago.I want to redo it again except i want toms rear and suspension put in it,i have been through 3 rears so far.

I have leaf spring,i bought new from eklers about 10 years ago.it was stock replacement i think.

most aftermarket or re-arced springs require longer bolts, no big deal with your 18" rims... the end of the spring often gets very close to the bulky 15" tires when using longer bolts...

The half shafts should be almost parallel to the ground , the angle will improve when you use longer bolts and lower the rear
