Don't you just love salt water boating? I went to a 2 stroke, 3 liter motor, modified by this guy:
http://madefi.com/30mercury.htm (check out the pics he does some sick stuff)

I have no more patience for an I/O. I'll never go back.

I took the top end of my 3.0 down with a set of allen keys. yep, allen keys, I think I may have used a flat tip screw driver and a 10MM socket once or twice, but not a lot.

Says 225 on the cowl, say a lot more at the throttle.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes from a bunch of guys I know (and many of whom I've met in person on my Tuning Tours). I'll be heading over to the C1-3 tech area and floating around over there.

By the sounds of things it may be Jim Shea

Steve

Jim and I get together every year, and he's stopping by my workshop on the 20th of this month - he's already told me he wants to chat a little about this stuff... I'll post up some pictures of our meeting here in the shop.

Lars, Glad to have you over here now. I got a lot of helpful tips from you and a GREAT tune at the Detroit TFB in Aug 06.

but not before some fool posted db as a person of knowledge...simply amazing these idiots don`t see him as THE major problem...my question is what knowledgeable person will be next to get fed up with the BS??

UMMMMM,

You can count me as fed up. I had a MOD call me out in a thread, and I posted his threating PM, and got booted. My last email to him was not very kind, I kinda let him hold a large chuck of my mind. The thread was sanitized and locked, but not before a few of us had time to converse off of CF. Wow, that forumm is really a bad place.

Glad someone pointed me over here, alot less hostility here too!!
