Poser road race corvettes

I see that I am late to the party but I must admit that the sight of Liverpoodle's emotional meltdown was very entertaining to me. The way that he went on a rampage after Yellow72 was enough to drive me into delightful laughter. I think it is obvious that liverpoodle could use some meds and should be treated with the utmost sensitivity, here at vettemod.com. It seems to me that "poodle" made some recent mods to his car's appearance and they look pretty good to me. I'm not so sure about his bug shields and what not but otherwise, it's good stuff. Is he a poser? I don't know but with a mental condition like he has, I don't think I would want to share a race track with him. Some people are better suited for demolition derbies than road course racing.

I bet i see a picture of his car on a road course before i see yours. And if you want to beat a new Z06 you better get Howard to drive it.

:stirpot:Aaaaa hell

...Some people are better suited for demolition derbies than road course racing.
Now don't knock demolition derby, they are DAMN fun. I went in a couple years ago when I was racing dirt track stuff. And yes, I have some pics somewhere... :1st:

I will never forget seeing one of them once some years ago at a Fairgrounds.... one of the cars that lasted till then end and just took out the most amazing machinery at one shot.....

was driven by a junkyard owner, and it was a........

like '68 Dodge DART, that ass end of that thing folded up with the leaf springs folded back to top of the rear axel housing, the thing would NOT collapse any further, so he just kept bashing, taking fenders off, and fast too, he was knocking off cars about twice the size and weight....so many of them were large Caddy's, where the ass ends would collapse under the weight at first shot.....amateur choice, what can I say.....even I knew that much.....I"m tell you what, that damn DART was one tough cookie....

Hey Bird...my dingus is bigger than your dingus!!!

Oh yeah...IBTL :D

everyone who's posted in this thread who has ever done a track day in their C3 raise your hand.

:bullshit:

Aye, not WELL but it was before the rack and HB....don't remember which tires but had the 17x9.5 '92 vette rims on.....with same springs as now...and KYB shocks....been about ten? years now...

I rather enjoy a HS run with top and windows down.....

:hunter::hunter:

I used to race dirt track stuff. Not in a C3, not even in a Corvette actually - in an old 1968 HK Holden. But, I own a C3 now, so does that sorta count. If not, ummmm, I guess I'll just pull my head in

On a side note, just in case anyone's interested, I'll be bleeding my brakes tomorrow. Mebbe even get the wheels back on

TT, is there a way to move up through the threads to where you last left off, like the "New Posts" then "Todays Posts" lets you do. You know, just go back to where you left off in a long thread like this to the last time you visited. That would be handy.

I have been away for a couple of days and this is a lot of horseshit to wade through in this one just to get to the piont that seems to be coming up very shortly. You know what I mean, the part where turtlevet gets the crap embarrased out of himself and then is too stupid to even realize it. Good entertainment.

Does a drag strip count? :) But it wasn't in a C3 :(

What do you think? Every swinging dick has been on a drag strip. And, I doubt you will ever be on a dragstrip in a C3, but it will make a nice coffin though. You must be saving it for that.

I've posted in this thread and never driven on a track......but then again, I never claimed to have.

I've never driven at a dragstrip either....but I am hopefull. I have been asked to take my DD to the strip, but I see no fun in that. And when I do get on the dragstrip with the vette, you can bet your ass that I will have pics, videos and time slips....and they will be plastered on this site.:1st:

To me it's not about who's dick is bigger than who's. It's about stretching my own personal limits when I can and having fun while I'm at it. It doesn't matter whether it's rebuilding a diff, tuning a carb, changing the rear suspension or planning some day to run it at Farmington Drag Strip.
